What You’ll Learn

Through the 30-credit online Master of Music in Music Education degree program, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of how students learn music through a variety of academic perspectives, including history, philosophy, and psychology. You’ll improve your musicianship and professional capabilities through the study of musical literature used in K-12 as well as music theory and will learn to integrate technology into the music curriculum. At the end of the program, you’ll be required to complete a capstone project that applies the concepts you’ve learned to a real-life scenario.
